Cooler Temps Warm Hearts

Visit Duluth/Superior

As the temperature starts to drop, here in the Northland we start getting ready for the inevitable snow (if it hasn’t come already of course!). It’s only a matter of time until we here at the Superior Inn will be hosting folks visiting for hockey, snocross, ice fishing, and other winter sports and activities.

I get ready for the cold by picking the last of the apples on my tree before the deer get them, and harvesting what’s left of my garden before the deep frost.

It’s also time to start getting ready for the holiday season, which always seems to come so fast. The Christmas City of the North Parade is on Friday, November 22 this year.  And, the ever-popular Bentleyville Tour of Lights opens the following day, November 23.  So, if you’re in town for Thanksgiving, or any other holiday and are looking for something to do that is always a great choice.
