After a blustery Thanksgiving week, December has arrived! This kind of weather makes me want to stay home where it’s nice and toasty and settle in with a good book. However, bundling up and braving the elements is not without its payoffs.
My family will be staying here at the Superior Inn while they’re in town to visit and we plan to check out Duluth’s Winter Village at Glensheen. Local vendors gather on the grounds where folks can shop, eat, enjoy some hot cocoa, and make s’mores while taking in the sights. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon while supporting local businesses.
