The month was kicked off right at the Lions Pancake event at the DECC on May 2nd. Usually, they serve over 10,000 people and use the proceeds to benefit the community.
You might want to check out the Norshor Theater this month. It has been completely renovated and a great line up of plays, musicals, and concerts are scheduled.
The other night I went to the Bent Paddle Tap Room in Lincoln Park. I was able to order my favorite chicken wings from OMC Smokehouse. They arrived by delivery person in a very short time and were delicious. There was live music and a festive atmosphere.
The Hanson family now owns the Duluth Grill, OMC Smokehouse, Corktown Deli and will be opening up Taco Arcada on May 5th. They are a wonderful family and deserve all the success they have gotten.
